We have two sides to the Awakeri Complex, the Lounge and the Gym. Both have access to toilets and bar facilities.

The Awakeri Events Centre offer a number of facilities for any event you’re planning. The centre has the ability to host and cater for a variety of events both large and small. The venue is a blank canvas with a newly renovated lounge, kitchen and bar area’ that can be transformed into your dream wedding day, a sophisticated corporate event, a meeting venue and much more. The Events Centre is extremely versatile and provides your one stop shop for a vast array of functions in the eastern bay.
We are becoming a more sustainable facility and want to lower our impact on the environment through energy efficiencies with our new LED lighting and heating & cooling system, proudly supported by Trust Horizon.
You have the option to hire a fully licensed bar from both the lounge and the hall, and we have a variety of preferred caterers available that are able to utilize our kitchen to compliment and enhance your event.
